Introduction: Coconut Bay Resort and Spa is set amidst a forest of coconut palms and situated on 85 tropical acres fringed by beaches on the south-east coast of St Lucia. Located just a few minutes drive from Hewanorra International Airport. The island capital, Castries, is located approximately one hour by road from the resort.
Facilities: The resort is home to three swimming pools along with a magnificent water park attraction. Located on the north beachfront, the water park features a spectacular free-form pool with swim-up bar, a lazy river and two exhilarating waterslides. Just beyond the open-air lobby and overlooking the ocean is an additional free-form pool. An intimate adults only "quiet pool" is located near the spa. Children have their own water feature play area at Cocoland, the fabulous childrens activity centre - great fun with supervised activities for those between 3 and 12 years of age, including T-shirt painting, arts and crafts and kite flying. A variety of activities are available including beach and pool volley ball, water aerobics, tennis (group lessons), two full-size basketball courts, games room and fitness centre with exercise classes. Evenings come alive with entertainment, theme nights and a discotheque.
Rooms (254): The adult-only ‘Harmony’ wing has Deluxe Garden View, Deluxe Ocean View, Premium Ocean View and Honeymoon Premium Ocean View rooms whilst.The family ‘Splash’ wing has Deluxe Garden View, Deluxe Ocean View and both 2-bed Deluxe Garden and Deluxe Ocean family interconnecting rooms.
All rooms have as standard sitting area, shower, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, iron and board, balcony or patio and a king-size or 2 queen beds, except Premium Ocean View with a king-size sleeping max 2 adults. Deluxe Garden are ground floor, Deluxe Ocean are on higher floors and Premium Ocean are top floor of ‘Harmony’ with flat-screen TV, mini-bar, and upgraded furnishings. The Honeymoon Premium Ocean View also includes celebration dinner, sparkling wine, fruit basket, Signature Beachfront Couple’s Spa Massage, champagne turndown service (Bubbles in Bed), preferred dinner reservation, departure gift and champagne reception on arrival.
Dining: There are a wide variety of dining options including a la carte dining in two speciality-themed restaurants (by reservation with family-friendly seatings) and a sumptuous buffet restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Snacks and grill favourites will always be available at the Beachside Grill. Three bars and a swim-up pool bar serve a wide range of local brand drinks.
